Like most great things, Sister Lace was born out of a need. I literally had a sister in need. My sis wanted a pop of color for the bridal party to wear at her destination wedding in the Dominican Republic. Flip flops wouldn't cut it; too casual and blisters were unavoidable! She needed something fashionable, colorful, elegant... and fast! My creation was a slip-on sandal so comfortable I forgot I was wearing them.
The warmth I felt seeing my sister and her friends enjoy them as they danced the night away motivated me to open this shop. The sandal lace styles are named after the bridesmaids in our party. Every lace piece I make reminds me of the love between my sister and I that started it all!
